Pastor Talo and Nori Sataraka

Talo and Noriko Sataraka are the founding pastor of New Hope Tokyo. He and his wife Noriko have one daughter Erika who is the joy of their life. He obtain his Pastoral training at Pacific Rim Christian College, graduating with Cum Laude receiving a MA in Christian Ministry.

Through New Hope Tokyo, He is instrumental in starting New Hope Yokohama, New Hope Osaka, New Hope Narimasu, New Hope Okinawa, and New Hope Taiwan. He founded Pacific Rim Christian College, which is part of a consortium of colleges under the leadership of his Pastor and Mentor Dr. Wayne Cordeiro, and New Hope International Pre-school in Tokyo. Talo is passionate about planting churches in Japan, Asia and the South Pacific nations.

Talo is also the director of the New Hope Japan Association of churches as well as the director of New Hope International Asia that have churches in Japan, Myanmar, Philippines and Taiwan. He first came to Japan as a missionary, and was a worship leader and director of Shibuya Harvest ministry in Tokyo for 10 years.
