ニューホープオハナの皆さんへ、

お元気ですか？皆さんがすべての面で守られ、健康であるようにいつも祈っています。
私たちは家族として前のように集まることはできませんが、イエス様は私たちの内におられ、色んな形でお互いにつながることができています。今年は、私たちの人生で味わったことのないクリスマスになりますね。皆さんと３月から交わりを持てていないことも信じ難いです。

こんな中で私たちオハナのためにあるひとつの約束のことばが心に響きますー「イエス・キリストは、昨日も今日も、とこしえに変わることがありません」（ヘブル１３：８）。これは私たちの希望であり、どんなことに直面していても、主にあってこのシーズンを祝うことができるということです。キリストは私たちの光、希望、そして救い主です。全世界が恐れや孤独感や絶望感に身を投じるいる中、私たちは世の救い主なるイエス様に目を向けることができます。クリスマスはそのことを思い出させてくれます。ですから、どんな時にもあなたの内に命をくださったイエス様をお祝いしていきましょう。

状況が収まり次第、またみんなで集まりましょう。それまで、ご家族を愛し、他の人たちに手を差し伸べ、私たちの内におられるクリスマスの主を信じていきましょう。何か祈りの課題があればいつでも教えてください。ニューホープの牧師たち、長老たち、そしてリーダーたちはあなたのために祈っています。

イエス様の平安と恵みがクリスマスのシーズン、そして来たる新年において、あなたと共に豊かにありますように。

Dear New Hope Family,

Greetings in Jesus name. I pray that all go well with you, and that you are safe and protected.
Even though we are unable to meet as a family as usual, Jesus is within us, and enables us to be connected to each other. This Christmas season is unlike any other Christmas we have known in our lifetime. It is hard to believe that we haven't had fellowship with many of you since March.

One promise stands out to me today for our Ohana and that is, "Jesus is the same, yesterday, today, and tomorrow." This is the hope that we have and thus we can celebrate this season in spite of what we are facing. Christ is our light, our hope, and our Savior. When the whole world is given over to fear, loneliness and hopelessness, we can turn our eyes to the Savior of the world as this Christmas season reminds us so. Let nothing keep you from celebrating the life of Christ in you.

We will all meet together as soon as things settle. Please love on your family. Reach out to others and keep trusting the Lord of Christmas who abides with us still. Please let us know if you have any prayer requests. Pastors and elders along with New Hope leaders are praying for you!

I pray and trust that the peace and grace of our Lord Jesus be with you during this Christmas and a New Year to come.
