神様の約束された賜物は待つだけの価値がある

「すべての良い贈り物、またすべての完全な賜物は、上からのものであり、光を造られた父から下って来るのです。父には、移り変わりや、天体の運行によって生じる影のようなものはありません。」(ヤコブ1:17 新改訳)

神様が用意されるものを受け取るための3つの真理：

1. 神様は常にに応えてくださる

「そのとき、エルサレムにシメオンという人がいた。この人は正しい、敬虔な人で、イスラエルが慰められるのを待ち望んでいた。また、聖霊が彼の上におられた。
26そして、主のキリストを見るまでは決して死を見ることはないと、聖霊によって告げられていた。」 (ルカ2:25～26 新改訳)

2. 神様は約束されたことを必ずされる

「シメオンが御霊に導かれて宮に入ると、律法の慣習を守るために、両親が幼子イエスを連れて入って来た。28シメオンは幼子を腕に抱き、神をほめたたえて言った。29『主よ。今こそあなたは、おことばどおり、しもべを安らかに去らせてくださいます。30私の目があなたの御救いを見たからです。31あなたが万民の前に備えられた救いを。32異邦人を照らす啓示の光、御民イスラエルの栄光を。』」(ルカ2:27～32 新改訳)

3. 神様の約束は常に私たちの期待をものである

「父と母は、幼子について語られる様々なことに驚いた。34シメオンは両親を祝福し、母マリアに言った。『ご覧なさい。この子は、イスラエルの多くの人が倒れたり立ち上がったりするために定められ、また、人々の反対にあうしるしとして定められています。35あなた自身の心さえも、剣が刺し貫くことになります。それは多くの人の心のうちの思いが、あらわになるためです。』」 (ルカ2:33～35 新改訳)

GOD’S PROMISED GIFT IS WORTH THE WAIT

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” (James 1:17 NIV)

THREE TRUTHS IN RECEIVING WHAT GOD IS PREPARING:

1. God always responds to an

“Now there was a man in Jerusalem called Simeon, who was righteous and devout. He was waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was on him. 26 It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die before he had seen the Lord’s Messiah.” (Luke 2:25-26 NIV)

2. God always what He promised

“Moved by the Spirit, he went into the temple courts. When the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the custom of the Law required, 28 Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, saying: 29 “Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you may now dismiss your servant in peace. 30 For my eyes have seen your salvation, 31 which you have prepared in the sight of all nations: 32 a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of your people Israel.” (Luke 2:27-32 NIV)

3. God’s promises always our expectations

“The child’s father and mother marveled at what was said about him. 34 Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother: “This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against, 35 so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too.” (Luke 2:33-35 NIV)

We will celebrate the 25th anniversary of New Hope Tokyo together with our New Hope family.
This is a time for both our current members and those who have been part of our journey to come together and share in this blessing. While the program may include moments reminiscent of a heartfelt reunion, this gathering is not just about nostalgia. Rather, it is an opportunity to look ahead and spend time anticipating what God has in store for our future.

We will celebrate this special milestone of our 25th anniversary during our Sunday service.
On this day, Pastor Wayne Cordeiro, the founder of New Hope Christian Fellowship, will be sharing a message with us. Let us make this a time of blessing—praying together, praising together, and wholeheartedly worshiping God!

Young Adults Ministry

ニューホープ東京のヤングアダルトミニストリーのリブランディングをしました！
イエスという唯一無二の使命のために集まるコミュニティーになりたいと願い、Collective(コレクティブ）と名づけました。
コレクティブとは一つの目的のために集められた人々という意味です。
今後コレクティブの礼拝は毎週日曜日午後5時から3階で行われます。
4月7日にコレクティブの最初の礼拝を予定していますので、ぜひ、ご参加ください。

Passion Generation, our young adults ministry is rebranding.
We hope to become a place where we can gather people together for one purpose, Jesus.
So we are rebranding to “Collective” which means: a gathering of people for one purpose.
We are excited as we launch into the next season! Moving forward Collective will be holding services every Sunday at 5pm on the 3rd floor.
